Hi there, I can't remember your name :/ but I remembered your screen name! I'm Dawn, used to be on here all the time but haven't been on in a long while.. was trying to get back into the groove of things on the site, but apparently, it doesn't seem very.. active anymore? Is there another cite or group on Facebook maybe that everyone moved to? Feel free to shoot me an email: dawndalebout@gmail.com I would love to catch up with all the ladies that I used to chat with!, including you! Thanks!

    Hi Dawn,
I just wanted to suggest going to fertilityfreind.com and reading up about checking temps and cervical mucous since you are TTC. They have these tutorials that tell you everything you need to know about your cycle. After a D&C you can have spotting. Unless it's a heavy period like flow then it's not a cycle. To have a true cycle you will have to ovulate then have a period or take provera or prometrium. I don't think the bleeding one week after is a true start of a cycle. Was it heavy and did it last?? My doc says 4-5 week wait after D&C, then if not cycle - take a progesterone pill like provera or Prometrium.
The first day of full flow is CD 1 (when you need a pad, not just spotting).
Clomid is usually taken CD 3-7 or 5-9 depending on the doctor prescribing it.
Then you'll usually ovulate a week later. But I would start taking OPKs around CD 12 just to be sure since it's the first time really monitoring.
The best way to know if your are about to O is your cervical mucous and position. If you have EWCM and your cervix is high and soft then it's O time! Then the only way to know if you did in fact O (and not just gear up for it, then no O), is to check your basal body temperature. If you did O, your temp will have a shift of about 0.4 degrees or more and it will STAY up.
If you create a free account at fertilityfriend.com all you have to do is plug in your temps and cm and it will tell you when you O'ed and your best fertile days to BD.
Best of luck to you and if you have any questions, you can message me, the ladies on the boards are great, and the fertilityfriend website has tons of info!
