I have never had blood work done by my GY doctor so i am seeking to go see a Endo doctor soon. I have had ovarian drilling three weeks ago. My ovaries were the size of apples. I have a period every month (very heavy and painful) which my cycles do run, 28, 29, 30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38. Not the bleeding part Just my whole cycle. I do not Ovulate which in turn causes my ovaries to swell up hugh. I don't have acne, hair growth, weight gain or hair loss. I was just told three weeks ago it was PCOS. Part of me wondering if it is something else because I don't have any of those sytp. like everyone else.

Hello everyone I am new to the board but I had enlarged ovaries and a infertility problem and bad pain with my periods. I was just told I had PCOS on June 2 when the doctor did surgery and went in and saw my ovaries hugh and drilled the ovaries and drained them as well. Now I have to take Metformin daily. I started out taking my 1000 mg 500 mg in morning and 500 mg in evening. I got so sick it was really bad so I went back to the doctor today and doctor told me to cut my 500mg pills in half. Only tak 250 mg per day until my body can handle it then slowly add 250mg until I get to my 1000mg.
