When I was on 2000mg a day, I took 1000mg in the morn with breakfast and another 1000mg at night with dinner.
This time around I'm taking a drug similar to met and the dr wants me to reach 2000mg again but would be happy with 1500mg. He said that if I can only tolerate 1500mg to take 500mg in the morn and then 1000mg with dinner. No need to take it mid-day. Maybe your gf could do this as well to help alleviate issues in the day? Not sure. But if she cont to have issues, I would drop down the dose for awhile and then bump it back up.

Does anybody know if metformin will help prevent miscarriages? I've been reading different things which say it may. Or that most women on metformin don't miscarry.
