I was dignoced with pcos last year after many complications with my period. Before my period or during I get bad sharp pains. What is it? Is it cysts ruptureing or is it just pain. It gets as bad as feeling like im haveing knifes stab me. Im just wondering if i should be worried or not

i wouldn't know what it is but u should definatly ask your doctor about it.

Don't worry you are not alone - as you can see this is not period related but being on your cycle can aggrivate it its not just GAS - GAS is a symptom - as well as frequent urination that accompany this pain
those who suffer from this same pain, many seem to get it around their period time as well. I know many people may not want to take the pill every daybut that's what worked so I just wanted to share that. You have to get permission from your OB to do so, b/c he has to write a year-round BC prescription
