Quick update before I put my toddler down for a nap....
Appt went well, the ultrasound showed his weight is approx 7lbs 6oz which is much better than the 8+ pounds I was worried about although he could be that since it's just an estimate. The only bad thing is he's face up which my midwife said makes for a longer labor (great!). She showed me some things to do to try to turn him so I'll give it a try. I'm 2cm too! WOOHOO! She said she could probably get both of her fingers in my cervix but her fingers are short and just not long enough. They are going to strip my membranes next at my appointment next Tuesday and that put me into labor with DS so I'm hopeful it will work and I'll be holding my new baby by the end of June! Also, feeling crampy right now, maybe it's from her examining me so I'm going to nap when DS does this afternoon. Attached are two pics from the u/s. Both of his hands were in his face but I can still see those cute chubby cheeks! |

Pjs - all of my appts have been lame! And I only had higher bp that first appt at 9 weeks because I was nervous. It has been perfect since, but was exceptional today. LOL!!
Jess - he is adorable!!! |

I just want to say that reading about all you guys nesting has put my butt in gear. Closets have been cleaned out, kitchen reorganized and all kinds of things. Although I'm doing the opposite of all you...I'm getting rid of sippy cups and baby bowls/plates and we are in full on toddler/preschooler mode around here
I guess if I'm not going to ttc, I'll just spiral out of control to get out of baby land I'm an emotional cleaner rather then an emotional eater ![]() |

Tink - I am an emotional cleaner, too. So you guys officially decided to hold off TTC then? I know that's tough. But just think, when you guys are ready for baby 3, Owen will be in school all day and you won't have to worry as much. We'll have to make a playdate at the end of summer with you, me and Jess and you can get your baby boy and girl fix in then!

Tink, I was going to say the same thing as pjs, come clean my house! I'm drained now and can't bring myself to do any more deep cleaning. Which means, Dhs to do list this weekend is getting long! Lol
Pjs, that would be cool. We all had our kids with in 2010 within 2 months of each other, right? Shaving - I do it about every two to three days. I hate feeling hairy legs so i try to keep them groomed. But I really need to shave/trim my lady parts in case I go into labor but I can't see them lol. I might have to swallow my pride and ask DH for help. I just don't want him to get turned on and want to do something after haha. |

Jess LOL! I had to ask Ty to help with that with Sophie. I couldn't see down there without a mirror... No advice on how to avoid the aftermath.
LOLI hear you guys on being tired... I have enough energy in the morning to start getting a little something caught up, but it completely craps out by afternoon. Sometimes I get a little more in the evening. At least the house is looking like people live here again, haha. Not much going on here. I think I *might* have felt my first flutters, but I'm not 100% sure. I know I was feeling Sophie by 15 weeks, so not long now.

jess- our 2010 babies were a bit more spread out- about 3.5m?!?!? still! really close then, and again this time! it's funny how many 2010 moms are in this group!
knut- how exciting for possible flutters. it won't be long before s/he is all over and you'll know for sure!

Tink - when I am wanting another baby and can't have one is probably when you will be pg, so I will live through you. Lol! Just think, waiting will just mean that by the time you do have one, you won't be planning a first or second birthday party and wanting a 4th haha
