Thanks for the new thread! I hope the cinnamon and chromium works for you. It's always nice to see results using more natural approaches vs medicine. Still no test results here. I'm sure they are back from the lab just waiting for the doc to review. Ugh

I ordered more supps on amazon and am seeing a good friend this weekend. Excited for that. Next week is the start of a weight loss contest at work so I'm anxious for that! I need some extra motivation since I've slowly gained back 10 lbs since last summer. I've been doing walks in the evening and cardio games on the Wii but overall, I need to step it up. The winner gets tickets to Disneyland so I'm ready to win!

I hope AF shows soon for you!!

No problem, I figured it couldn't hurt to start a new one. Well I hope she reviews those tests and gets back to you quicker this time! Seeing friends that you haven't seen in a while is always refreshing1 I hope you have a nice weekend. I agree with the motivation to get back into the groove. Makes it much easier to stay accountable.

Tonight will be night 8 of progesterone. I have heard of 7 -10 days of progesterone so I figured I should take 10 days just to make sure I get AF.

I have a bit of a cold so that has been making it hard to workout in the morning. I can't remember if I told you but I moved my alarm clock from next to my bed to across the room to force myself not to push snooze anymore. I have been getting up around 6:30 and I either Run 2 miles ish or I do my strength training and interval training. So far I have been doing a pretty good job of keeping on track. Which is rather surprising. My next goal is to tighten up my eating.

I have been making my own granola bars and they are pretty good. Nothing bad in them like the store bought ones, lots or protein, good fats and of course can't get away from carbs but the fat and protein helps balance them out! I wasn't really eating breakfast before so I thought if I had something quick like this it would be better for me!

Ha sorry for being long winded!

I hope the 10 days does the trick. When I induced AF with NPC it usually took 10 or 12 daysish for AF. Good for you putting the alarm clock on the other side of the room!! I hit snooze so much and I wouldn't have the willpower to put it on the other side of the room so that's great you are getting up and sticking with exercise routines. Speaking of that, the contest starts tomorrow. I had a great weekend with old friends and ate so much, I'm embarrassed! Oh well, they weigh us tomorrow so that's my starting point.

That's so cool about making your own granola bars! I buy the granola from Walmart and mix in some Greek yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast. I'm really bad about skipping breakfast too so that will stop. I'm going to start jogging every evening. The weather is nice here, not too warm yet so it's perfect for that. Tomorrow I'll get back to temping and waiting to O. Hope my lucky streak continues with having somewhat regular cycles, even though they are still long. But, better than not cycling at all. Hopefully, the naturopath calls next week for the test results. I have a gyno scheduled on Wednesday. So I'll get the pap out of the way at least. Hope you had a nice weekend!!

Hey! I am pretty sure the 10 days did the trick. I was tired of not getting up when I wanted to work out. I was pretty confident that it would work and I was right! So far so good. I didn't exercise this morning with AF because of the cramps etc.

I hope the contest helps keep you on track! So glad you had a nice weekend with friends that is always a nice time.

The granola bars are sooo good. I got my mom hooked I think. I eat them for breakfast and sometimes a snack. I even went so far as to make my own almond butter to use in them because its so expensive.

Hopefully your supplements continue to help and regulate you. I hope your naturopath is on the ball this time with the results!

I think I am going to try to regularly use the NPC. I think it was helping before so I want to try to regulate myself while on this break. I have a feeling I will be trying Femara before the year is over only because DH doesn't think the natural is doing anything...

I'm glad AF showed! I think you should package and sell your granola bars. Ha! I hope the NPC regulates you during the break too.

As for femara, I bet you will have good results if you do go that route. I had very poor response to clomid after 3 cycles on it. But, my first and last cycle on femara, I had very good response with a good ovulation and high progesterone levels. I would definitely go back to that if I had the chance.

I met with the new gyno and had a pap today. He delivered a baby in between patients so I waited over an hour to see him. I was so ready to go that when he came in, I didn't ask questions and didn't really feel like sharing my fertility struggles, so it was a short appt and I got out.

Next was the follow up with the naturopath. Blood labs came back good except vitamin D levels were a bit low. Surprising since I have been taking 4000 iu for some time now. I wonder what the level would have been if I wasn't taking the extra D supp?! Other things tested were red/white blood cells, sodium, thyroid, sugar, cholesterol, calcium and all was in normal range. I was happy about that. So, she bumped me up to 6000 iu of vitamin D per day. She said I'm very textbook PCOS which isn't surprising. We also talked about my cycles. I explained the last two were ovulatory, 48 and 61 days long. I said to me it's success when you go from 80+ day anovulatory cycles to 50-60 day ovulatory cycles. She agreed.

I got the print out of the lab work for my files. It's good to know and have a reference now. The diet/exercise is going well so far. I'm so mad at myself for gaining 15 lbs since last summer! I would like to just get the 15 back off but my ultimate goal is to lose 20 overall. I want to win that contest and look good in summer clothes. Everything in my wardrobe lately is becoming too tight and I hate that feeling!
