Hey girls! Hopefully I'll catch up soon with who all is on this thread and figure out where all of you are in your TTC journey.....cuz I think I'll be spending some time here.

I put in a call to my OB nurse to ask some questions about getting my Mirena IUD removed. Hoping she'll call back today. I'm nervous about ttc again, but I think we're ready to see what happens. I only have a couple of months to try before we'd have to take a break because we can't have a baby in May/June next year (that's DH's busy season at work and it's impossible for him to take time off). Working on timing a birth is not easy with infertility....so I don't know what we are thinking!! We'll see....

honey- looks like a definite O to me! take a break girl! I feel tired for you!!!!

punkin- you better report right away! I would have mailed you one if you weren't testing soon! LOL!

Amanda- so exciting! Do you know much about having the IUD taken out? will you be fertile right away?

Well, b/c of this stupid scabies thing, the nurse told me not to bd for a couple weeks. David has the scabies on his waist area and upper thighs. They said we shouldn't bd b/c we don't want me to get them in my genital area. I'm so ticked. Plus we have had such bad nights with Abby that my temps are all over. Yesterday was 97.66 this morning was 96.68! That's a whole degree. So either I'm totally erratic or my sleep is messing everything up. Plus I felt freezing this morning so I don't know if that makes my temp messed up or not. So now I just have to wait around forever for stupid AF to come. I'm just so grossed out over this scabies thing, I can't bd so if I O it's hopeless, and I'm just having a hard time with my little sister. I'm so sick of hearing about her food cravings and m/s. I mean how insensitive that she keeps going on and on when she knows I would give anything to be pg right now too. I guess I'm just throwing a pity party for myself and I'm letting myself have a good cry.

I'm not sure...that's the main question that I have. It will determine our course of action at this point.

I'm so sorry about the news you got. What a waste of a potential O! But I guess it's true, you don't want that stuff spreading. Are her hands/feet doing any better yet? or does it take more time?

Happy Friday!

Megs - the Dr put me on Atkins because of my insulin resistence. I am a meatatarian, but I also love the carbs & have a horrible sweet tooth. My RE told me to try & live in a world without sugar, easier said than done. I REALLY want another baby so I am willing to do whatever it takes. I am gonna be a woman on a mission.

Punkin - I can't believe that you have not POAS yet girl! I have a stock pile of tests for just in case. I am hoping that you get a BFP.

One more week til DH comes home. Here's to Oing next week AFTER he comes home.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

megs, I hope the scabies go away soon so you can bd again. ever heard of the menstrual cups? I read somewhere women would have their husbands "deposit" the sperm into the cups and then women would insert them to get the sperm close to their cervix. It sounds crazy..I know, but if you are desparate it might be worth a shot. I saw the product on some fertility site. I almost bought one lol. I figured I would try a couple cycles before I went that route.

Amandap, I hope you are fertile right when you take that thing out! maybe its like bcp and you have good chances right after you stop the pill....

punk, I am going to go ahead and offer to mail you a stick to pee on if you don't get one soon!

I am def done bding for awhile! I need a break lol

Megs-I bought what honey is talking about! You can find them at Wal-Mart or probably any place now. They are for menstrual cycles but I also read they can help with making sure sperm stay up close to the cervix. Maybe having DH 'deposit' them and then sticking it in place might work?! They are called 'Instead' and come in a small square box. I never used them for TTC, I was going to though....I have used them for AF though. Good luck!!

Girls...I bought a test lol. I purposely waited to go get cat food (poor kittys) til all three girls took their showers...as they won't leave the house w/o make up. Lol. Then they couldn't ask to go. Tomorrow is the day...although my bbs wernt as sore today. I still have a vein popping through my areola and that only happens before AF...so maYbe she IS coming???
