Default Calorie Counters Support Group

Thought I would add a Calorie Counter Support Group to the mix. As I know most PCOSers count carbs and I know we have a Atkins Group Somewhere.. It would be nice to mingle with some women that are Calorie Counting.

Personally for me when I switched to LC from Calorie Counting I stopped losing weight. Now that I am calorie counting again (and staying Low GI For the most part) I am losing weight!

I use myfitnesspal.com to track but I know there are TONS of other sites!!!

This is a good idea. I use SparkPeople and I love it. I've been bad lately and next week am going on a cruise so I won't fully be back to calorie counting until around October 20.

I use to use Sparkpeople myself... but the calories burned for the exercise was always way more than what the machine at the gym would say, so I switched to MFP and I LOVE IT!!! It's like facebook for people trying to lose weight!

I didn't listen to them, lol. I think they wanted me at 1600 or something. I'll work back up to that once I'm at 170, I think. I want results faster, and then I'll maintain. I've been staying around 1200, but I'm also making a point once a week to not keep track, just to trick my body. LOL

Sweet...Just what i need...Might stay on track with calorie counting with a support group...Usually give up in the first week.

MFP has me on 1200.
Dont forget drinks contain calories as well so dont forget to include them ..Water doesnt obviously lol.
Beware of dreaded empty calories found in things like alcohol too.

Sedivy thats a great goal you have there on your ticker You can do it!!!!

Megzy - Do you get Biggest Loser over there?? I heard on the show last week "Don't drink your calories." So true!! I have actually been doing really well with sticking to water. I actually prefer water to almost any other drink now!! Amazing.. I never thought I'd say that!!

Yes I make sure to not drink my calories.... anything I drink has 0 calories in it.. I do allow myself Diet Soda (0calories) at night, and I drink Powerade Zero to replenish at the gym! All 0... since I'm not a water drinker I make sure that i am not drinking my calories. Good point Megz.

and thank You!! i want this.. and I am so gonna do this..

I track everything I eat, and drink into my journal including water!

1200 is about the normal right? Make sure to eat all your calories.

What about the exercise calories? MFP likes to tell me I have extra calories because I workout.. I'm honestly not sure how many of those I should be eating. I feel like I should stick to the 1200, but at the same time I don't want to "starve" my body.

Any ideas?
